01

Engineering Basis

Methodology

Links biological oxygen demand, submerged aeration and blower sizing. Results include oxygen transfer, air demand, diffuser layout, blower performance and energy use.

Assumptions

  • Review the alpha and beta factors, standard oxygen transfer efficiency (SOTE), dissolved oxygen (DO), diffuser submergence and site elevation for the stated process conditions.

Scope / Limitations

  • Reference-based preliminary screening and design. Detailed design requires project-specific engineering review and supplier performance data; results do not constitute certification, a vendor guarantee or regulatory approval.

Engineering Path

Biological AOR source (choose either)

Oxygen transfer design

  • OxyMatrix Consumes accepted AOR and owns transfer, airflow, diffuser, blower, and energy calculations.

Downstream support

  • Aeration equipment / biological process support Use OxyMatrix results to support aeration equipment selection and downstream biological process design.
