Ingenieurtechnische Grundlage

Methodik

Active demand = flow × user-entered active dose × 0.001. Commercial product mass = active demand / user-entered active mass fraction, where fraction means active ingredient mass per commercial product mass.

Product solution volume = commercial product mass / user-entered product density (kg/L). Normal feed = daily solution volume / 24 h.

Working storage = daily product volume × storage days. Gross storage basis = working storage / usable storage fraction.

Minimum and maximum feed cases use the entered design doses. Required turndown = maximum / minimum feed when minimum feed is positive.

Pump-rate screening assumes entered duty pumps share the required feed equally. Pump staging/on-off control is not modeled.

Umfang / Grenzen

  • Each chemical has a separate storage and feed system. No cross-chemical arithmetic total is presented as a shared tank, feed, or pump sizing basis.
  • Does not select a manufacturer, size piping, determine material compatibility, predict product degradation, or replace tank-code design.
  • Pump capability is compared only with user-entered turndown data; this is a screening comparison and not a pump selection or performance guarantee.
  • Product active mass fraction and density are user-entered; solution concentration and dilution-water demand are not calculated. Storage volume is per chemical system; tank count is not calculated. No US-unit conversion path is implemented; inputs and outputs use SI units.
